Their efforts, funded by Agriculture Victoria, have resulted in the development of an innovative eLearning platform.

What to expect from the webinar
During this interactive session, Bron will share insights into the progress and lessons learned from their eTool platform and the wider support provided to growers and communities. Together, we’ll explore:
- the role of eTools in enhancing pest management practices
- what success looks like in managing fruit fly at the regional level
- future opportunities in area wide management.
As a holistic pest control strategy, AWM is designed to address pest pressures across a defined geographic area, spanning both urban and rural land. By taking a coordinated approach, AWM can effectively reduce pest pressure at the landscape level, especially for mobile pests like Queensland fruit fly.
However, this approach requires collaboration from diverse stakeholders, including urban residents, farmers, and landowners. As pest management strategies evolve globally, fostering these collaborative efforts will be critical to ensuring the success of both existing and emerging tools.
